Drop In Centre
Hope Foundation Head Quarters are currently outreach based but are currently looking for a place to call 'HOPE HOUSE'/ the lovewell " in the inner city where women are always welcomed, loved and cared for. An inner-city address would allow us, and the women we serve, more accessibility to each other and then we believe we would geuninely be able to meet the needs more practically.
Regularly Hope Foundation Support Workers are meeting with women at cafes and parks all across the city encouraging each woman to continue on their journey of recovery, helping meet their 'practical' needs of shelter, clothing, food; and equipping them for the steps they need to take to move forward. All of these things reflect the purpose and heart of Hope Foundation BUT we recognize our incredible need for somewhere to call 'HOME' for the women on a day-to-day basis.
Starting in June 2010 the team will be meeting with women at the Princess Theatre in Wooloongabba on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings - with dreams of expanding the committed time there, thus allowing for even greater reach out to women in need.If you would like more information on our dream for an inner-city drop in centre you can check out : http//:www.hopefoundation.org.au/what-we-do
