Valentines Day 2009 report

On Saturday 14th of February the Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba was transformed into "heaven on earth" for our 4th annual Valentines Day outreach to the "overlooked women of this city".  The women that we call "future lights to the world". 

The day included for these incredible women a high tea, pampering, gifts, flowers, resources, ministry, prayer, child-care, opportunities to connect with HOPE and make choices for freedom....and many did.

After Caitlyn Turner sang a few songs, Bronwen shared her heart for freedom and an incredible young woman - who was saved at Valentines Day outreach 2008 - shared her testimony many women chose freedom and life change.  Of the 50+ guests over 20 of them make the decision to begin the journey of freedom that is found in relationship with Jesus Christ.

It was the most incredible outreach HOPE FOUNDATION has ever known.

The women were then linked in with our weekly bible studies and when asked to fill in the feedback forms made comments like, "my life will never be the same", "the most incredible day of my life", "I feel like a princess", "I have never known such love - the HOPE team are so full of life".

A truly incredible day; that no-one that was there will ever forget - guests, volunteers and children.

Our hope is that it is only the beginning of relationship with these incredible women...as they walk through the journey of freedom.
