Hope Haven

For the past 2.5 years the Hope Foundation have not had a specific office/admin/drop-in space and yet we have grown in the number of women whose life we are reaching, touching and impacting...BUT for the past 6-12 months it has been very obvious to us of the need to find somewhere for Hope to call 'home' for the team and the women that we serve!

Today we put in an application on a 4 room office space in Mt Gravatt that we are very excited about.  It would be a space for our support workers to have private counseling rooms (there's only so deep that you can go in a cafe, park or lounge room!), a resource and storage room, a large group meeting room/lounge/training space, a prayer/worship/quiet room, an outdoor courtyard area, an eat-in kitchen.

We are hoping for favor with the real estate agent, who is the same agent as the property that we rented for the precious Hope women & her 3 children after the floods. She is open to the concept of what we are wanting to us it for AND it is on the grounds of a local church [which is considered community zoning - and perfect for Hope].
