America trip 2011 - the beginning

Thursday 16th Jun 2011 12:00 AM

I am sitting in my divine home office here in Brisbane pondering the past 3 weeks in America - truly awed. I believe that it will take a while to process all that God did in me, through me and around me. I have come home with a renewed passion to see the world changed as women are set free from the issues that bind them [from ICAP global conference & personal + ministry times] and with a refreshed soul [from magnificent time spent sharing with dear friends].

I will continue to ponder and blog it as it comes to mind and heart.

The trip started with Naomi [our incredible support worker] and I attending the International Christian Alliance on Prostitution conference in Green Lake, Wisconsin - with over 200 delegates and 40 nations represented. It felt like home. Being surrounded by like-minded and hearted people all on a mission to help men, women and children find freedom from the sex-industry. It was here that Naomi and I both realized just how passionate we are about the women of the nation of Australia knowing about the love that sets free & breathes new life. It was here that we connected hearts and minds and hands with others that will propel us forward with greater determination and greater wisdom.  We are both SO grateful to those that helped pay, pray and pave, the way for us to attend.  The next global conference in is May 2014 and we are believing to be able to take even more team members for growth, freedom and encouragement.  There's nothing like KNOWING that you are not alone in a calling and mission like this one.

Stay tuned for more America blogging :)
